TMA: “Pronounced as “Meh-lek-esh”. Melechesh means “King of Fire” in Hebrew.
Problems between Melechesh and the strictly religious people in Jerusalem, as well as professional and personal reasons, encouraged the band to relocate with members going to The Netherlands where they could continue work without the hassle from religious authorities.”

It was awesome to meet Aschmedi & the guys again. And see the gig! The first  since they played in Stockholm for some years ago. Not really the same line up any more but  a good gig upstairs!:))

“Although much of their music from the mid-1990s onwards has incorporated electronic sounds which would best define their genre as industrial metal, they are an early black metal band and an innovator for post-black metal styles. Samael released their first album Worship Him in 1991 on French record label Osmose Productions; the following year they signed a multi-records deal with Century Media Records and released their second album Blood Ritual.”

I love ROTTING CHRIST!!! This gig was probably the best one I´ve seen with them!

“Before they formed Rotting Christ, Sakis Tolis, Themis Tolis and Mutilator played in a band together called Black Church, which they started in 1985. They went on to create Rotting Christ in 1987. From 1987-89 Rotting Christ were a grindcore band, after Satanas Tedeum their sound shifted towards black metal.”
