“S A M A E L existed long before brothers Vorphalack and Xytraguptor began turning gears in a bunker on the 14th of July 1988 – but that was the day it awoke. While practicing daily during that summer, the duet had one thing in mind: conquer the world.”

“Violence, malice and beauty” as they were presented on the event webpage. MEPHORASH didn´t let us down, not for a second. However the soundsystem did a few times and made me a bit upset. Nevertheless, a great performance. If they´re ever coming your way, don´t miss out!

“Dødheimsgard (also known as DHG) from Norway, formed in 1994. Dødheimsgard was originally a black metal band, but 1999’s 666 International saw them change into an experimental and avant-garde / industrial metal band. In 2000, they shortened their name to DHG. Their name,”Dødheimsgard” is a contraction of three words: Død which means ‘death’, heim which means ‘home’ and gard which means (at least in this context) ‘realm’. A natural translation into English would be “Realm of Death”.Some former members are Apollyon. Carl-Michael Eide. Fenriz and Kvohst.”
