I worked for this festival the first two  years (as the official photographer) and loved it.

It used to be a really nice one but now there was a totally different feel all over it (new owners, new order). Oh well…didn´t stay that long anyway.

Had a really nice roadtrip with my friends in OZ and I didn´t go hungry or without coffee;))  Didn´t make it to the ISOLE gig, only heard the last tones when were carrying stuff to the dressing room.  That sucked, but I´ll get to see them in august instead:) The OZ gig was great fun as always!! A bit hard to shoot time to time, but I still loved the lights. Great crowd also:)) Met quite a many friends and other cool people in that short time at the festival and also got my new extreMMetal armband from Tommy @ Tom Leatherarts!!

He does some great leatherwork so check out his pages!! Shot the whole gig so lots of pics:)

A small but ohh so fun private party for some invited guests. Cheap beer & booze, two great sets with OZ and really nice people. Couldn´t go wrong:)) They also got a couple of young supportbands (Kids In Love & Lipz) and some silly competition (never really got what it was all about, but it was kinda funny.
Singing and OZ t-shirts were involved.) The great Messiah Marcolin (ex-Candlemass) joined in for a couple of songs (“Black Night” and “Fire In The Brain”) during the second OZ set. Jay c. Blade played the first set, but stepped aside and let his stand in Johannes handle the bass in the second one. Jay himself had a beer and just enjoyed the show with the rest of us.

First of all…I´ll switch back to english. Mostly because I´ve got far too many good friends all over the world and I want to save them from the horrors of the Google Translator. And also because I suck as much writing in swedish, so the outcome will be the same anyway.
So, I went to a roadtrip with my friends in OZ the other day. 48hrs without sleep (napping in the van doesn´t count), approx 9-10 hrs at the festival, some food and then back to Stockholm. 1100 km wonderful Swedish countryside. Of course there were downpour, thunder and lightning almost all the way back.
The SRF gig was the second one OZ played after 20 years of absence and it actually went really good!!:) The band were in great shape & mood, the new guys were amazing and the audience also!!  The OZ webpages will soon be updated and presenting the new line up for you.

OZ (Fire In The Brain, Turn The Cross Upside Down osv.) har sparkat igång igen! : Guitar / Markku Petander (Yö, Popeda osv.): Guitar.
