A very few snapshots (as usual) on some I met at Lois. Some nice surprises, didn´t expect to meet so many I knew:) Had some beer, met some nice new people and got myself a deal for a tattoo!! I think this was the second time ever I ended up shooting metal in this area. Very, very upper class for you who don´t know;) I had fun, though. Home at 4AM, woke up with a headache…

Saturday, Halloween weekend, great bands and a sold out evening at Kafé 44. Lots of fun (and ever so drunk;)) people, but as always I only took a few pics besides the live ones. Which, by the way, are coming up very soon! Bands on stage were Insision, Mr. Death (also releaseparty for “Detached From Life”) and Torture Division.  ♥  Club Distortion / Sophie & Peter forever ♥

REV 16:8 got to play very late so I had to run off in the middle of the gig.  Sorry for that, but I  shooted as much I could before I left. There was so much smoke on the stage during the first couple of songs, so I could hardly see the band behind (and in) it. And it was really hard to get some decent pics. I got this gray layer in all of them…When it got clearer, I had to leave. Oh well…too bad, I did my best and the band sounded really good! Have to see a whole gig someplace soon.

flyer_1200Never been to this Pluto venue before, but I think they´ve already hosted a lot of gigs to this date. Not so much metal, though. Not that I know anyway. REV 16:8 throwed a releaseparty for their latest album “Grand Tidal Rave” and special guests for the evening were Die Hard and Quad DMG (two guys playing black metal on guitar & drums. Strange but cool in some weird way.). I was kindly invited by Claes (REV´s manager) and I was really looking forward to this one.  Curious about REV 16:8…the material on their MySpace sounds really good! And I was going to see Die Hard again!

The backstage area was crowded, smoky and with free beer. I only had one as usual, but the gesture was enough, so thanx a lot Claes. You´re a generous guy!;)  The amazing leatherman Tommy was there and also did some shooting. He´s pics are already online on his facebook…I´m late as always. But here they go (the first ones):

I love Kafé 44! Especially when it´s a Club Distortion or Luciferian Society event. Everybody´s there and It´s just so NICE!! And in both cases there are always really good bands booked. After Tanto burned down, most of the better things moved to Kafe 44. General Surgery, for instance, will have their yearly Tantogig there:) Too bad I´m not here by then…
Anyway, I took amazingly many whatever pics on das publicum. And some more on the bands and the staff. And the creepy Club Distortion guy…he seemed to be everywhere…

F.K.Û!! Finally!! At last!! Oh, the horror!!! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways…(Elizabeth Barrett Browning).  The Horror Metal Moshing Machine celebrated their last album “Where Moshers Dwell” with a party at Kafe 44 together with The Ugly, Club Distortion and lots of fellow moshers.  The crowd almost moshed the hell of me and my camera when I tried to take some pics during the show so I had to stay in the “safe” spots most of the time. Just for to remeber that there are NO safe spots at the venue. Big thanks to my human shields Findus & Peter, who sometimes tried to keep me from being moshed to atoms.
The sing-a-long song of the evening: The Pit and The Poser.
