A totally mindblowing gig in Stockholm and Nergal´s triumphant return to a Swedish stages after being ill.
The fans (including me:)) were really happy to see him back, powerful and awesome. Amazing, spectacular show with more of…everything I´ve ever seen or felt on a BEHEMOTH concert. I shot the first songs in the photopit, but most of it I enjoyed from the VIP balcony together with the beer drinking, headbanging Swedish metal elite (guys from NECROPHOBIC, DESULTORY, ENTOMBED etc.

And of course you can never avoid the staff from the Close Up Magazine;)) Had a great view and the sounda were just perfect and for me it felt like the Grande Finale. And “Lucifer” was magnificent! Aarrrghhh!!

Corpsegrinder and his band rules!! Wish they hadn´t played as the last band at Münchenbryggeriet…I really love to see them live,  but after the ultra spectacular BEHEMOTH gig, I had a really hard time to get myself into the right feeling. I even left before the show was over, and I never ever have done  that on a CANNIBAL CORPSE gig.  But they will come back, I´m sure:)

NEXUS INFERIS from Wales got the first slot. Really early (about 5.30PM?) so not that big crowd yet. Everything started even a half an hour earlier than it said on the web, so they got kinda bad odds. Lots of people didn´t even know there were actually five bands playing. New band to me and didn´t know one song, but still, it was a good start for the evening:)

Line up (Encyclopaedia Metallum)
Chris Clarke – Bass / Lyn Jeffs – Drums / O.S.Entity – Guitars (lead) / Veracity – Vocals

Amazing gig!!
Had a really long day with a few hours photoshoot in Old Town and then I just got stuck at the venue since 5PM doing nothing. Still, I was taken good care of thanks to the Püssy a Go Go crew (the first time I met them) and all the others at Debaser, so I was really doing ok watching the soundchecks and having some good food and a couple of beers:) Bought a t-shirt and my first patch ever. Have to figure out where to do with those. Maybe on a bag or smthng…suggestions? Anyway, the evening was a great one, the venue packed with people and IN SOLITUDE were so good!! Didn´t take any pics of the cool & beautiful people, Just shot the concerts, but I had a fast “promoshoot” with the club owners. Some of those coming up as soon I finished some other stuff.

REVEAL from Uppsala, the town of a million great bands. A new band for me but an immediate success:) Weird, beautiful and intense liveshow…can´t describe it in another way. Found the album (Nocturne of Eyes and Teeth) on Spotify. Check it out so you know what I´m talking about.

Photo shoot with SERPENT OBSCENE ( 1997 – 2006) in April 2005. Shot the outdoor pics at an old (abandoned) tuberculosis hospital and some sandpits. For the indoor shots we occupied the local youth centre. We also used their smoke machine…
Additional note: The pizzaplace where we went for lunch made pentagrams in bearnaise on the pizzas m/.
One of the smoky pics ended up on the album “Chaos Reign Supreme” (cover art made by the great Joe Petagno) and the whatever pics on the album are also by me.
The band split up after releasing the album and I´m still not over it!!

I also got “Bitterness” with “Death Unfolds” (demo ´90) & “Visions” (demo ´91) as bonus. Great stuff indeed!!:)) The CD version of “Counting Our Scars” HERE.
