A week to go now!! My favourite guys are entering the recording studio to make the album No.2. Was invited to hang around a day at the rehearsals so I heard it all! And it´s going to be awesome:)) Had a very nice day in the best company. And I took some pics, of course.
If you want to see them live, the next gigs are at Doomtown [Hässleholm] the 28th of March and the 24th of April at Undergången[Sthlm].

Started out early in the morning when Heljarmaðr picked me and Maugrim up and we headed to THE record fair. Many familiar faces there but omg the queue:)) When we were done, we collected Dimman and had some hours of photo shoot (new album in making!! Heard some of it and it sounded great!!) and we finished the day by going with the guys to the Death Kills festival. A very good day! Snatched the pic of Andreas Heljarmaðr but I think I took it with his phone:) Anyways, as usual it takes awhile before I can show any pics from the shoot.
“The name Grá comes from a mixture of the Icelandic “grár” and the Swedish “grå”, simply meaning “gray”. The major content of the lyrical concept is based upon the ancient Scandinavian religion, or rather upon the dark aspects of ancient Scandinavian spirituality. Grá is not a part of any organized religious movements but stands as an independent force. Grá uses Charon from the ancient Greek mythology as a symbol of transition. Death is always present.”
If you´re not familiar with this band yet, I strongly suggest you give them a listen!!!
For the past couple of years The Liffey’s Källare has been an important place for many of us. Yesterday it all ended. I wasn´t there, but I sure was at the first night in August 2012 and lots of times after that. Cheers to Püssy a Go Go and may you still reign for a long time!:))
In the very beginning @ The Liffey. The ones involved met up for a group photo and some food. (Photo credits P.A.G.G.)
The 2nd of May next year THYRFING will have their great 20 year anniversary bash in Stockholm! The awesome EREB ALTOR and SKOGEN are also confirmed to this event.
Got my hopes for the “surprise guests” promised;))
The awesome guys from Finspång are coming back to town tomorrow and play together with ENTOMBED A.D and The GRAVIATORS. at Kägelbanan. Hope I can make it there!
Have seen them many times, but the last time was at Sthlm Death Feast almost two years ago. Definitely the best band for Roberth´s (Scar Symmetry, Tormented) killer growl!
Today´s photo on FB (www.facebook.com/extremmetal): Martin Missy & PROTECTOR at this year´s Party.San. Still haven´t finished the gallery but will do soon!
Also got black metal stuff from Greece!!! Profane Prayer sent me a couple of awesome albums and a t-shirt!
I was supposed to hang out w the KD people in Tokyo late 2013 but because of typhoons & stuff happened, all their gear got stucked in a Chinese harbour and never made it to Japan. So last minute cancelled trip for them:/ I was already in Japan by that time so made the best of it (with typhoon and all;)) sightseeing all over Tokyo & Yokohama, meeting up w friends and going to some gigs. So quite good trip overall.
Anyways I finally got to meet up with all of the KD people at the rehearsals for the Summer tour 2014. Kinda made up for Tokyo
Some really nice days in Denmark, 2 rehearsals a day, fun company, truly professional crew and the most awesome venue rented for the rehearsals.
In last minute there was the incident involving the former bass player and Pontus E. was asked to step in. He accepted, took the plane from Sweden the next day, rehearsed 14 songs within 24 hrs or so and played like he always been in the band. A hero!
The coffin from the 80´s was tried out the first time since…the 80´s. This time Grandma was the one to be burned. She wasn´t too happy about it xD
The first gig on the tour was in Stockholm and they did some European gigs & festivals before a tour in US later in the year.
And so it happened that COFFINS had a small gig outdoors the day after I arrived to Tokyo. So I went there, of course. Probably the last time ever I could see the band with Ryo (vocals), because he´s quitting the band after the Japan tour with NOOTHGRUSH first days in November. Pretty sad I think, but hopefully he can take his other band GUEVNNA on the European roads next year. (Saw them also on this trip (pics HERE) and they´re really good!)
Anyway, enjoyed the day out in Tama Center (the home of HELLO KITTY!;)) and went for some decent kaiten zushi with the guys before leaving the suburbs.
And the other stuff….:))
