Whore Ensemble – Pub Anchor 25/12 2009
The guys in the awesome Chainsaw called themselves Whore Ensemble and played Slayer covers with an energy we didn´t think was humanly possible these times of overeating and laziness. Great gig! We had a blast!!!:) Of course the setlist ended in Post Mortem/Raining Blood!!

We (me, Sophie & Bussman) left KGB and went to Anchor to meet some people, have a couple of more beers and listen to some Slayer covers. I lost a beer in a weird way at some point…and yes, for once I was a bit drunk.

The fantastic, fabulous and extremely handsome Rob Coffinshaker played solo at KGB.
He got his amazing “Johnny Cash goes gothic” voice and the songs almost made Sophie cry ;))

Club Nuggets @ KGB 25/12 2009
Had a great time!!! Thanks to Daniel, who invited me, Sophie, Damon, Rob and everyone else involved…me and Soph bought one of those Homer Simpson beers. Probably the first & last time….really expensive!! Fun, though:) Have to keep it short now because there´s lots of pics to blog and I have to start moving again soon…So without further ado, here´s the first ones:

Didn´t think I´d get any presents this year but in fact i got a couple of them today:) Both F.K.Û and man.machine.industry sent me calendars for 2010. The one I got from F.K.Û contains photos from the promoshoot we did and in the M.M.I calendar is various pics…some mine and some from others.
Love them both!!=) I also got a copy of Upsala Nya Tidning with the big F.K.Û photo on the cover:) Thank you so much guys and have a fantastic Christmas (that also goes for the rest of you, too) !!!! See you all next year:D
Birdflesh + The Arson Project + Slavebreed – Broder Tuck 11/12 2009
More grindcore…
The Arson Project and Slavebreed (from Greece) and of course the main attraction of the evening, Birdflesh from Växjö who did their second-ever Stockholm gig.You could tell that they (Achmed Abdulex – guitar, backing vox / Smattro Ansjovis – drums,vox /Barbro Havohej – bass, backing vox) were highly appreciated and awaited. I personnally could tell that by the fact that after one song or so I had to run for cover and relocate myself up upon a table behind the pillars.
Everybody went totally crazy and if it wasn´t so easy to take pics before, it went absolutely impossible. There were already one photographer on the small stage, so I didn´t have that as an option either… And the (very few) photos do suck:) I´m sorry.

Remasculate – Broder Tuck 11/12 2009
Micke, the guitarist in Remasculate asked me if I wanted to come over and take some pics. I´d already thought about going, but after being away every weekend the last…don´t know…many many weeks, I had re-considered. But I like Remasculate and he asked nicely and took care of the guestlist:) They got Jacob Anderson on the bass nowadays…he did well I think. Took awhile before I realized something was different with the band:) The basement at Broder Tuck is small, hot and humid. And smelly when it´s packed with people. And it´s hard to get any good pics. I tried, I tried…
Klubb Dislocated – Broder Tuck 11/12 2009
Hooked up with Erik Tormentor and went to Tucken for some grindcore. Tasted a couple of really good beers (Punk IPA & Red Seal Ale) he brought with him. And of course I got a lecture in beerscience. At Tucken I bought a Sofiero, the Nr.1 fulöl in Sweden. Not good, but cheap.
Anyway…took some snapshots on some people while I was there…
Carnal Forge @ The Cave 4/12 2009
Haven´t seen Carnal Forge since…wait, have to check…2006 in Köping. They changed the vocalist for some time ago and Peter Tuthill does great as the frontman. The band seemed to have lots of fun on the stage. And off the stage. All over the place, really, because Tuthill obviously needed more space than the stage could provide;) Lots of crazy stuff…But now I know what all the buzz is about…
INTERMENT – The Cave 4/12 2009
I like Construcdead and was a bit sad they cancelled, but I got to see Interment for the first time ever instead. Didn´t know so much about the band, but the fact that both Martin and Johan from Demonical were in it, was enough to have some high hopes. First time I also witnessed Johan doing the lead vocals:) He did fine and I really enjoyed the gig!!!;)
