This weekend´s surprise: Once in awhile I found a new band to love!!! Just like that! The non-thrashband Karpis played before Talion and were really really good!! Love the stuff!! According to their bio, they play progressive-doom-hardcore….and some cowboy rock. Good enough for me;)) Check them out will you!!
And the weekend continues….
Went to see a couple of old friends at Bar 122. A long long time ago I saw Martin Missy & Talion thrashing live, so it was really fun to be there. Met some other cool people, too. And one REAL idiot;) The idiot (with entourage) luckily disappeared right after Talion started their set…he couldn´t stand the music, I think:D Small stage, but it worked…with my own contribution to the lights.
Klubb Gås-night yesterday…The Ugly & Remasculate had releaseparty and was in real hurry to get from Hovet to Broder Tuck in time for Spazmosity who opened the evening. I arrived in time, took off like 5 layers of clothes (it was freezing cold at Hovet) and left them with Inky who sat with the merch. I bought The Ugly CD and a beer, then I ran out of money…got to get the Remasculate CD later.
I didn´t have to freeze anymore…the basement was like a sauna. Very small stage, no lights what so ever, so I shot everything with the flash.
