“He (Kolgrim) concedes that’s why people call them ‘old-school’, though he detests the term.
– It implies that we’re intentionally trying to look like an 80s band, when we in fact are one. It sounds like something ancient and outdated, as from a forlorn time. This is contradictory to me, I believe that black metal must be timeless or it will lose touch with its whole conceptual foundation. I will always consider UNPURE to be black metal. The day I stop doing that is the day UNPURE dies – that’s how we came together, it was the whole point.”

“CRAFT embodies the black metal virtue of raw spiritual energy expressed through violent, ripping guitar-work and unholy rhythms enhanced by demonic vocals. The Swedes have long enjoyed a massive cult status within underground circles, yet also gained strong acclaim and recognition by mainstream metal media and critics.”  –  Season of Mist

Fuck The Universe 20th anniversary!!! Markus from ULTRA SILVAM as the new vocalist (permanent I hope!)!! He did great and had the proper “CRAFT feeling”. Not always enough with just a good or even great one.
Nox did also appear on stage for a shorty:) I will always keep that guy in highest regards no matter what. He was the true voice of CRAFT.
Fantastic gig!! (more in awhile)

“Imagine a blackened sound that claws at your very soul, a powerful, intense, swirling mass of energy emanating from your speakers, like the coming of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse heralding the end of the world. Except there’s only two of them, and they hail from Denmark. Following the release of their two critically lauded singles, the new force in black and roll unleash their debut album on the world! The enigmatic Danish duo Angstskríg protect their identity from the world but let their music do the talking…”

“The founders Mats and Ragnar grew up with Bathory’s epic era in their hearts, so it comes as no surprise that their music would somewhat flaunt the influence of their house god Quorthon. So with Bathory’s anthems as their spiritual foundation, they set out to find their creative and unique niche within the epic Viking metal genre.”

“Much like Dracula leaving Transylvania hell-bent on conquest, Richard Spider (Daemon Bitch of SHITFUCKER) moved to Philadelphia with the sole intent of forming SPITER. Alongside fellow magician Bat (Darkest Prince of Devil Master), and Philly punk drummer Snake (Disjawn), who was magically uncovered in a destined meeting, the lineup was complete. Following the path forged by the infernal and immortal Dragon, creating the True Vampyric Metal Punk in the name of our God and Father, Satan!” – the band for hellsheadbangers.com

“Classic Nazghor strength: the swirling tremolos centered around a fiendishly catchy central melody, powered by frantic, but never intrusive, blast beats. It’s epic and forceful, with enough variation to avoid the wearying sense of repetition. Importantly, atmoblack this ain’t. Seventh Secular Crusade is so stuffed with riffs, it resembles a mutant American turkey at Thanksgiving”. – angrymetalguy.com reviewing Seventh Secular Crusade
