DARK BOMBASTIC EVENING 3rd EDITION was one of the nicest events I´ve ever been to. Loved the whole concept of it! You can read more of DBE@www.darkbombasticevening.com
Notes: Les Discrets had Neige (Alcest) on bass and the drummer Winterhalter used to play in Peste Noire.
“Dark Bombastic Evening desires to be a nonconformist festival that promotes and supports the Underground spirit in the freest and most unconditional ways! It was created from an honest wish to offer friendship, to organise cultural events filled with diversity and to establish a musical Underground platform unique to Romania and beyond.”

First of all – a BIG thanks to the ArtMania people who invited me to this festival in the first place:) Had a great time, met lots of awesome people (both old and new friends), checked out the wonderful city of Sibiu and of course, had too many beers:) Great start for my Transylvanian tour the following week!! Hope to see you again soon!!

“X Japan (エックス・ジャパン Ekkusu Japan?) is a Japanese heavy metal band from Chiba, formed in 1982 by drummer Yoshiki and lead vocalist Toshi. Predominantly a power/speed metal band with heavy symphonic elements, they later gravitated towards a progressive sound with an emphasis on ballads. Besides being one of the first Japanese acts to achieve mainstream success while on an independent label, the group is widely credited as one of the pioneers of visual kei, a movement among Japanese musicians comparable to Western glam”

Wanted to see X Japan as long as I can remember. Not exactly one of the MASSIVE shows in Tokyo but the best possible. Totally worth a 24hr trip to Berlin.
Pictures taken with my small travel camera:)

Ok…it´s been 2 months, but backdating is the shit!!;) Anyway, the Musikmesse was actually lots of fun! The place was huge and I don´t think we saw all of it. Met many cool people and had German sausages with my coffee for breakfast (the breakfast@Sheraton costed 23€, so we only went for it once. Totally worth the price, tho:)) and wished every now and then that I actually could play an instrument. I´ll probably  go next year also. But I´m going to stay at an hostel someplace very near the best Kebabhouse in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt was a pretty nice city!! Easy to get around with trams and buses and by foot. Some tourist pics HERE
