Notes: Les Discrets had Neige (Alcest) on bass and the drummer Winterhalter used to play in Peste Noire.

First of all – a BIG thanks to the ArtMania people who invited me to this festival in the first place:) Had a great time, met lots of awesome people (both old and new friends), checked out the wonderful city of Sibiu and of course, had too many beers:) Great start for my Transylvanian tour the following week!! Besides being one of the first Japanese acts to achieve mainstream success while on an independent label, the group is widely credited as one of the pioneers of visual kei, a movement among Japanese musicians comparable to Western glam”

Wanted to see X Japan as long as I can remember. Not exactly one of the MASSIVE shows in Tokyo but the best possible. Totally worth a 24hr trip to Berlin.

Ok…it´s been 2 months, but backdating is the shit!!;) Anyway, the Musikmesse was actually lots of fun! The place was huge and I don´t think we saw all of it. Met many cool people and had German sausages with my coffee for breakfast (the breakfast@Sheraton costed 23€, so we only went for it once. Totally worth the price, tho:)) and wished every now and then that I actually could play an instrument. I´ll probably  go next year also. But I´m going to stay at an hostel someplace very near the best Kebabhouse in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt was a pretty nice city!! Easy to get around with trams and buses and by foot. Some tourist pics HERE
