The anniversary band! With a serious film crew so guess there will be a DVD? Happy 30th guys!!:D
From the band bio: “While it required several years for Necrophobic to regain their strength, the lineup on Mark of the Necrogram is the fittest and most combat-ready the Swedes have had since Darkside split the heavens in 1997.”
Band Members Anders Strokirk – Vocals Alexander Friberg – Bass Sebastian Ramstedt – Guitar Johan Bergebäck – Guitar Joakim Sterner – Drums

” It’s really important that you have everything; we don’t want to perform if we can’t give all of the stuff that we have. Like we want to use fire, and if the venue says we can’t use it, we don’t want to play that show even if it’s good PR, it’s not worth it. Because we want to give the crowd and ourselves the whole Mephorash experience.”

www.wormwood-official.com: “We want to have the attitude from rock’n roll and have some influences in our music. It makes for a great show. We also wanted to incorporate black metal as many of us likes that. So we took the visuals from it and a big dose of the music. That raw, take-no-prisoner, viscous visage. This is not by any means new, but we wanted to have atmosphere in it. We wanted to have soundscapes from ambient music. Also, we wanted to stay true to our northern heritage, so folk influences was a given.”

“IRFAN – a unique mix of hypnotizing melodies and rhythms – an electro-acoustic World Fusion of the music of the Balkans, the Orient and Medieval Europe”

Dark Ambient/Darkwave from Germany.
“For those who don’t want to check Wikipedia: “Apoptose” describes the so called programmed cell death. It simply means that a cell dies when it is damaged or ill. This program works in nearly every living cell except for cancer cell that live on and on. When I was looking for a name for my musical project that was something that came to my mind. I especially love the literally meaning of the Greek word “Apoptosis”. It means leaves falling off trees. I still think that it fits perfectly to the topics and atmosphere of the music”

For some years ago one of Swedens finest (but yet not so well known), GRÁ, supported DARK FUNERAL at Fryshuset, Sthlm and a while after the GRÀ frontman Heljarmadr also started to do the vocals in DARK FUNERAL.

NAGLFAR supporting DARK FUNERAL at their 25 year anniversary gigs around Sweden. Kraken being the last stop.

“INQUISITION style of black metal involves slow, deep and dark riffing combined with sudden tempo changes to faster sections based around blast beats and high-speed riffing; at times adding melodic solos”
And all the awesomeness only by two guys. I´ve seen them only once before, I love the albums but this evening they were pure magic!
Dagon – Vocals, Guitars (1989 – current) Incubus – Drums (1996 – current)
I.N. finally in Stockholm!!:D Perra K. very briefly on stage but I cought him too.
Lots of fun reading in the band bio. Sadly stopping at 2008, tho..I would love to read the book:))

“Lucifer is not fallen, he is the force that rises above such silly concepts as moral absolutes and eternal torture for non and petty crimes”
So far the best YOTG show I´ve seen. Happy.

“Old school death metal that draws equal amounts of inspiration from death metal and crust punk” from Sundsvall / Bristol.
Band Members: Jonny Pettersson – Guitar, Bass, Vocals / Gareth Nash – Guitar, Vocals. This time also with Gustav Myrin of BLOOD MORTIZED on stage.
We made the best of the only day we got at Dark Days and had such a great evening! Starting with the debut gig with this fairly new BM band (2014) w. Jimmie Nyhlén – Vocals / Antti Kurvinen – Guitars / Pelle Fransson – Guitars and one of our national treasures Fredrik Widigs – Drums. Pretty good turnout concidering the (very) early start at 5.30PM and a very good show. So onwards!!:)
FIRESPAWN destroyed!! It won´t be much heavier and more crushing than this! I even filmed one of the songs, but so far my small piece of shit cam won´t co-operate and let med download the clip. But I will eventually outsmart the bloody gadget:/ Found a clip made by max westman, tho, so I share that one for now.
The new album “The Reprobate” will be released in April!
“The brainchild of Entombed AD bassist Victor Brandt and Necrophobic bassist Alex Friberg, this latest meeting of malevolent minds has conjured one of the most startling and impressive metal albums of 2015, Shadow Realms. A tour de force of pulverising but crafted death metal grandeur, it couldn’t be further away from all those archetypal half-arsed side-projects and sounds like the beginning of something genuinely exciting.”

HORNA from Finland. No bullshit!
“Through-out the years the lyrics of Horna ventured from harsh anti-christian hatred, paganism and fairytales to severe exaltations of the occult, the mysteries of the dark side of mankind and Satanism – from youthful outbursts of anger to ever more maturing inner enlightenment.”
