Metal från Trollhättan sen -98. Ett avbrott på några år i mitten av 2000 sen körde dom på igen.

Mörkaste giget var nog det bästa jag sett med The Crown och dom regerade som fan igen! Ljudet funkade också ua. Bra drag framför scenen så höll mig undan dom bättre betalande och tog bilder där jag kunde utan att springa ivägen.
Inte exakt samma line up som sist för The Marko Tervonen´s son Mateo (Sarcator) som inlånad hjälpande gitarr. Bra ös så ska nog kolla in hans egna svartthrash band lite bättre (han är både vokalist & gitarrist i Sarcator). Ljuset var rätt skumt för foto men det är ju inte så ovanligt så bara att ta det som det kommer varje gång. Ytterst nöjsamt i det stora hela:))

Träffade Linda (Florin) som var där och fotade/filmade för Night Crowned & The Crown. Hett tips ifall nån letar efter proffsigt samarbete för sina projekt.

Melodisk black/death från Göteborg sen 2016.

Inte haft nöjet att se dom tidigare och har inte heller varit så bekant med det dom gjort i albumväg men kul att det blev av nu. Trummisen kände jag till sen förut för bästa J. Jaloma är även trummis i Dark Funeral. Flera bekanta namn bland resten av bandet också. Skulle hälsat till Henric från en fellow Göteborgare, men han var inte på plats när jag kom ihåg det så fick skicka den hälsningen via tredjepart. Hoppas den gick fram:)  Och igen – bandet gjorde bra ifrån sig men monitorstrulet fortsatte.

Lite annorlunda upplägg denna kväll. Heljarmadr fick  seriösa hälsoissues och hamnade på sjukhus i Chile.

 

GRÁ hade två inbokade gig i Grekland och i Sthlm som han inte kunde delta i, så efter snabb överläggning med gitarristen Niklas E. & dom övriga kom man överens om att inte ställa in, utan att Niklas skulle hoppa in som vokalist också. Funkade skitbra. Mannen ifråga har redan vanan inne från bla Godhead Machinery (note: Oscar från Avslut är trummis i GM) och framförallt så hade han en röst som faktiskt funkade ned GRÀ´s specifika material.

Sen var det ju bara att lite snabbt lära sig alla lyricsen xD Simon Desekrator (Voodus, Stormdeath osv) blev inlånad som gitarrist så nytt sammanhang för honom också:)
Dimman & Vediger är ju alltid stabila som berget så det blev riktigt bra ändå. Förutom att ingen kunde styra upp monitorerna fram varken under GRÀ giget eller för nästföljande NIGHT CROWNED. tekniska problem är inte direkt sällsynta, men störigt när ljudet glappar för mycket:/. Men bortsett från det, så var det ett bra gig.

The Grande Finale of a long day. Didn´t have much to do, so left quite early and “helped” to pick up the bus DF were using the rest of the weekend and getting the gear from the rehearsal place. After arriving to the venue I just drifted around trying not to be too much in the way. The venue was really nice and all the staff also, so all the waiting was not too bad at all. There were even a Banksy exhibition in the building (still there until the 4th of February -24)

Always nice to see bands that you usually only see on bigger stages with all the works. A really good gig and DF tried out some new stuff on stage (no fire this time). Looked good with the colours and smoke, but not so much photo friendly lights. But I did the best I could:) Good crowd and met/noticed quite many ppl from the music business. Being a weekday in Stockholm, there was a great support for this event.
Overall a very nice day.
DARK FUNERAL and the supporting bands continued the weekend with Uppsala (Fri) and Trollhättan (Sat).

Death metal with hardcore vibes from Uppsala since 2021 so a fairly new band. Familiar faces, tho.
The guys in the band not so “new”: Matte Modin (ex Dark Funeral. Firespawn, Raised Fist), Ronnie Nyman (Nightrage, Always War, Enemy Is Us), Gustav Eriksson (ex Mass Worship, Ordos, Always War) och Erik Sjölander (The Mist of Avalon). The first time to see the band live, good opening for the evening!
