My Japanese friends Takashi and Miho came to Stockholm and we went to Gröna Lund to see Hardcore Superstar. Takashi saw them back in ´06 in Hiroshima and thought it would be really nice to see them again:) Funny weather, though. First it was quite ok and a bit later I was freezing my ass off. REALLY cold winds.
We met Anders and Sasha and tagged along to some pub after the show. We also met Yayoi, AKA “Shield”, from Tokyo. Still wonder how she could find me that day:) Hopefully I´ll be meeting her again when I´m going to Tokyo in october…HCSS is not a band I usually go and see, but I enjoyed the show very much. Really fun band to see live:) Pleased with some of the pics also. Never applied for a photopass, just took some shots while standing in the crowd and watching the show with my friends.

Karin (Sonic Syndicate) told me for awhile ago that she will be on the cover of the new Crafton catalog with her Ibanezbass.  Some photo I took when they played in Stockholm last time. I got the catalog in the mail the other day and found one of my livepics on Roger (guitar) also:)  All in good company of a couple of photos taken by my friends Daniel “Framed Noice” Falk and Micke J.  Quite ugly photoshopwork  with the cover, though…but who cares:)

Lite då & då försöker jag komma ikapp med sånt som inte har blivit gjort. Som tex promogallerierna… Har fixat i ordning några bilder från förra årets session med Everwhere. Vi plåtade på en del ställen på södra sidan av stan. Det var ungefär lika hett ute som det är nu så det var ingen lek. Killarna var roliga att ha o göra med och det blev en del bra bilder tycker jag:))

Friday: shot a wedding all day (at home 1.30AM), saturday: the Zombiewalk & STHLM Thrashfest (at home 2AM). Sunday: I was pretty torn…but the guys in Everwhere were kind enough to pick me up at noon so I didn´t have to take the train to the other side of Stockholm…Really sunny, really hot but I think we did quite well. We drove around for several hours on the countryside and found some cool spots here & there…I think the pics  turned out quite well:)

The great Raise Hell was the last band to play at the first ever STHLM Thrashfest. Fantastic evening all together, so hats off for Marcus & Eric who worked really hard to make everything happen on such a short period of time. From an idea to the final result on just in a month or so…think that´s pretty amazing. And they´re already planning for the next one:)

Another great band on the STHLM Thrashfest bill – Construcdead.
First time ever I saw them live, actually. They are, by the way, working on an new album right now.
Liked “Violadead” and the EP which came out for a couple of years ago. Haven´t heard the latest, though…
Got to get updated before the new one is released…good stuff.

The first STHLM Thrash Festival ever at Nalen, Stockholm and I was invited!!  So, thanks a lot, Erik & Marcus!! I had a really good time:) And thanks Fabz for the coffee! You´re a hero & lifesaver!

STHLM Thrashfest 09 is the first Stockholm Thrash Festival and will take place on the 30th of May in the respectable venue of Nalen in central Stockholm (Regeringsg 74). The event is arranged by the musicians themselves in order to sift through all the bullsh*t and give Stockholm quality metal by the pounds at an affordable price and at a better venue than thrash/death normally is given access to.

I  went to the venue after running around and taking pics on the Zombiewalk earlier in the day.  It was hours before they even opened the doors, so I just could take it easy and take some random pics while waiting for the whole thing to begin.
Sterbhaus was the opening band, so I begin with their pics. First time a saw them live…great gig and a great start of  the evening! And I´ll try to speed it up a bit with the rest of the pics…;)
