Andra spelningen inom (rimligt) kort tid med NORDJEVEL. Denna gång i Broddessons hemtrakter. Skitbra spelning. Riktigt dåliga bilder:/ Jaja…
Kollade upp trummisen med L.B. för visste inte vem det var. James Stewart (Belphegor, Decapitated ex-Vader osv osv). Metal Archives hade inte hängt med riktigt med gäst/livemusiker. Eller sen så hade det blivit ett sistaminuten grej. Sånt händer ju alltsom oftast.

20+ år och CURSED 13 lägger ner med en jävligt bra sista spelning! Tur att jag hann se dom en gång live i alla fall.
Avtackning av högsta kvalitet!
Eftersom allt runtomkring detta band har tydligen levt up till namnet så ska även backdropen åka i brasan så dom aldrig ska komma på tanken igen xD

Men hurra som fan för detta gig! GRÁ folk (Heljarmadr – Dimman – David) i grunden och Simon Desecrator var kung som gitarrist i bandet trots (väldigt) kort varsel/reptid. (Tack till C13 för det eminenta rese/campingsällskapet!)

Perra Karlsson, bästa snubben, har släppt en platta! “Underdog” vars släppdag var den 23 Juni 2023.
I princip är det hela ett sammandrag av en lång karriär i Metal och allt förklaras rätt bra precis HÄR i en recension.
Och jag fick vara med i ett hörn:))

 

Bilden på baksidan har jag tagit.  Egentligen en “bonusbild” från plåtningen vi gjorde med Perras NOMINON i Göteborg för ett gäng år sen. Jag har alltid gillat den miserabla bilden och tydligen Perra också eftersom han frågade efter den när layouten skulle bestämmas.
Han hade ett gäng med CD´n & tröjor med sig när vi sågs på nån spelning i våras så fick lite presenter:)
Plattan är en svinbra blandning av allt möjligt :D

Anyways…my second Steelfest was pure awesomeness once again. For many, many reasons but most important ones: Great bands, great gigs, no nonsens @ good company.
Hugest thanks to Jani Steelfest, all the staff – especially my brightly shining coffee lady & pickle queen Johanna S., my flatmates (well…need to have a place to stay next year also. Need to play nice;)), everyone I met old & new friends & acquaintances. Aaaaaaaand the weather!!:D
If you for some reason have missed it for this long, the next dates are set: 16 to 18th of May 2024. All bands still TBA but expect nothing else than a perfect fest.

Hope you made it to this years fest but the dates are set for next year so you´ll get a new chance xD

I´ve seen these guys many times (latest was just a week or so ago in Finland) and they have always been great. Still, they can take it up a notch every now and then and this gig was for sure one of those with extra everything. Crazy & sweaty kick ass show!!:D
