“Formed in 1989, NECROPHOBIC belongs to the first wave of Swedish death metal bands. Ever since the release of its classic debut album, “The Nocturnal Silence” (1993), the band has issued a total of seven studio LPs, among them timeless masterpieces as “Darkside” (1997), “Bloodhymns” (2002) or the brilliant 2009 album “Death To All”.
NECROPHOBIC was recently rejoined by guitarists Sebastian Ramstedt and Johan Bergebäck following the band’s split with its axeman of five years, Fredrik Folkare.”

“After playing together in different irrelevant extreme metal bands since they were about 12 years of age, and after in one of these constellations rehearsing a cover of the Running Wild classic “Black Demon”, the two came to the conclusion that what they really wanted to do was to play that same kind of timeless heavy metal, being the most elevated form of music there ever was” – http://www.portraitmetal.com

“A name that’s earned a reputation for consistency and devotion, Hellfire Deathcult—in only four years—have carved their niche with napalm, jackhammers, and an unflagging delivery of unholy warfare. Yet on Death Worship, their third release to date, Chicago’s hooded beasts somehow outdo themselves. Hear mutated wild boar vocals spew nuclear hate. Hear riffs like infernal winds of hell rupturing forth from the earth, chased with bat-winged tormentors and leather-clad eaters of carrion. Hear drums blasting and blasting like some desperate gunner unloading round after round in an attempt to take the goddamn thing down” – Nuclear War Now (Release of the “Death Worship”
