“Japan’s SOLITUDE history started in 1996 with two ex-members of SACRIFICE (Japan) (the founding member and main composer Akira Sugiuchi and the bass player on two of their albums Toru Nishida.)”

A bit annoying that when SOLITUDE finally played in Sweden, the first gig would be at Anchor in the middle of the week. They deserved so much better! Nevertheless, the guys played an awesome gig like the pros they are! And also the next 2 gigs in southern parts of Sweden went obviously way better:)

Berget Bergman is a dear old (oooold;)) friend of mine and now he has released yet another M.M.I. album and the new stuff sounds really good!! He also trusted me once more to shoot all the pics needed. There´s a brand new line-up now and have to say the new guys are not bad at all. They rock!:) Lots and lots of people @ Anchor and I saw myself on the tv screens every now and then (the MMI dvd looping…scary shit:)). Cool gig and drunken mayhem in the crowd so over all it was a good party:))

LEAN BACK RELAX AND WATCH THE WORLD BURN – The album
All photos by Soile S. (extreMMetal.se) / The fab artwork By Bergman

We (me, Sophie & Bussman)  left KGB and went to Anchor to meet some people, have a couple of more beers and listen to some Slayer covers. I lost a beer in a weird way at some point…and yes, for once I was a bit drunk.

Club Distortion did it again! And I love them forever!
After visiting some lightmetal concerts with real (and lots of) lights on stage, ear friendly tunes and all the normal people in the audience, I was back to where I belong. In the dark and evil places. The first of two great C.D. nights took place at Pub Anchor on thursdaynight with Mr. Death and the legendary Desultory. Fierce and intense as hell! Extremely enjoyable…
