My favourite band from the Sweden Rock Cruise in october 2011! I won´t be working for the Getaway Festival this year, so I felt kinda free to do whatever and planned for a HELL “stalker tour” this summer. First stop at the Muskelrock festival. Loved that one!! Wonderful place, wonderful atmosphere and great bands! Shit cold, tho. So I was mostly freezing my ass off. Luckily I packed clothes for 11 days when I left home…needed all of them:) Nevertheless, a place to be next year also!! And HELL had an amazing gig in the rain and cold.

Och Google har en utmärkt översättningsfunktion;D I alla fall…båtresan avklarad med hedern någorlunda i behåll. Kul var det och nästa gång (oktober) är Nifelheim redan inbokad så kanske, kanske. I love IN SOLITUDE more for every time I see them live. Could go and see them once every week! Oh, wait…they´re playing on the Sweden Rock Cruise the upcoming weekend;):P I think there I also got a better chance to get some good pics of the drummer, Uno. Their creepy-beautiful intro and following “We Were Never Here” is one of the best openings ever (see the clip below)!! The Metal Crypt review of “The World.The Flesh.The Devil” (by Christopher Foley) pretty much sums it up (and I quote): “In Solitude are a fucking cool band, so unashamedly old school without the slightest in pretention and they don’t do it because it’s cool. These guys play hard, and they play like they mean it. The World.The Flesh.The Devil packs eight dusty, cobweb-covered odes to all things Satan and the occult, played with the kind of mystical magic rarely found outside of the 80’s.”

Backdating as usual, so it´s actually already October;) Needed to hurry up with these because the next IN SOLITUDE gig is tomorrow on the Sweden Rock Cruise. And I´m only going to shoot the drummer, Uno;) At least there´s a good chance to get some decent drummer pics on that stage, so I´m going to do my best. Great gig at PSOA, of course!

BLACK TRIP at Nalen Klubb!! Sharing the stage with NECROCURSE and PORTRAIT!! Almost too good to be true but that´s the Püssy girls for you. They know how to make unforgettable evenings. Great great gig, but didn´t expect anything else…and just check the line up!!

Directly from the Sweden Rock Cruise to Nalen Klubb an to another great Püssy a Go Go event. Got some time to hang out with the bands and the Püssy staff. SORDID FLESH kinda blew me away already at the soundcheck and the actual gig later in the evening was brilliant! One more new band (for me) to add on the “must see again” list.
Yasse (Yasin Hillborg, drummer in CRUCIFYRE) made a movie!!!!
He´s been working on it in many years and now it´s finally finished and going up in 35 movie theatres cross the country starting on the 7th of october. It´s a film about the history of Swedish metal and many of the stars in the movie were also at Rio this night. The movie was really good so Yasse should be really proud of himself!!:)
And if I want to (and got the time) I can see it again very soon at the Sweden Rock Cruise!!:) The releaseparty was held at Strand with SWITCH OPENS and IN SOLITUDE on stage. Blogging up some pics soon.
