Byter till svenska här. Orka va sådär taffligt internationell för det lilla jag brukar skriva. Och Google har en utmärkt översättningsfunktion;D I alla fall…båtresan avklarad med hedern någorlunda i behåll. Kul var det och nästa gång (oktober) är Nifelheim redan inbokad så kanske, kanske. Tog extremt få bilder utöver spelningarna så skickar upp dom först. Måste ta tag i sista visningsbilderna för Crucifyre (fotade promo i måndags) innan jag börjar kolla på livebilderna. Återkommer!

[Candlemass okt. 2008]

Got an invitation to tag along on the Sweden Rock Cruise and apparently I´m going boating again in april (8-9). The last time I did such thing was in october 2008, so maybe it´s about time. This time the bands on board are: Death Angel (US), H.E.A.T. (S), Primal Fear (DE), Tony Martin (UK), The Devil’s Blood (NL) and Abramis Brama (S). The M/S Silja Galaxy is a great boat and the stage is really nice.  And there will be people I know, so…It will be fun!

While at home I realized I only took a handful of pics others than the livebands…that sucks. I also didn´t try out the videothingy in the compact…that sucks too.
I always read Micke´s blog and he often got some really nice stuff of celebrities and other people, fine pics of food & drinks, and of the nice hotelrooms he´s staying in being away working somewhere…like the lifestyle of the rich and famous. I had a great time with Sweden Rock staff and other crazies:)
So…here´s my shiptrip:

Slept maybe 3 or so hours and up for breakfast (read: coffee!!. And even more coffee!): Met F.K.Û Teddy on my way to the cafeteria. We had a really nice coffee & cigarettes breakfast talking about life and stuff and listening to the same songs over and over in the Guitar Hero bar…
F.K.Û did a GREAT gig!!! As always!! The main reason for me to being on the boat in the first place!!
I shooted the whole gig so there´s about a million pics uploaded.
The last band to play on this cruise was Demon and soon after we arrived in Stockholm. And that was the end of it. The next SRF cruise thing is in april…maybe I´ll go again:)
And now to my favourite part of the event: The great moshoholics F.K.Û.  As I said, there are tons of pics, but I´ll sort some of them out later. The worst ones…

My first time on a ferry to Finland since…i don´t know when.

 

And I never really thought I would ever even concider floating around the Gulf of Bothnia again… But all of the sudden It felt like a good thing to do, so I booked it in. Mostly because of F.K.Û !!! So I tried to tell myself it´s all going to be worth it.

And the good part is…It really was fun:) I knew I´d share a cabin with some people, but I didn´t know which ones…so I was quite happy to find Jenny W. there. The flyerguys I met when boarding were the other two roommates. So it all worked out well.  Off to find some food with Peter Distortion and Kling, and soon It was time to get my gear and go shooting some bands.   Dismember started to play at 9.00 PM so there wasn´t so much time to do nothing in between. I loved the stage and the pretty lights!!! It was FUN to photograph. I shooted the whole Candlemass gig (thanx Micke!!;)) After the last band finished at 2.30, I took a couple of beers, wandered around a bit,  met some really nice people and also three really stupid fucks…Personally  I hoped somebody would quickly throw the nasty bunch overboard.
Went to sleep when Galaxy arrived to Finland.
