I´ll keep myself out of the discussions about “who is who” & “what is what”. I just adore the Romanian stuff:). The soundscapes, weird instruments, all of it. So beautiful.
Basics from E.M: Negură Bunget started its Black Metal presence back in 1995, as a duo, with Hupogrammos Disciple’s on vocals, guitars and keyboards and Negru on drums. After a disagreement between Sol Faur, Hupogrammos and Negru, the band decided to split-up. Negru decided to continue the project with a new line-up. Hupogrammos and Sol Faur have started a new project called Dordeduh. Negură Bunget means “Dark Foggy Forest.”
Live on stage Withershin is a ferocious and ruthless beast. Worshiping Death in blood-smeared ecstasy, the bands dedication and conviction is evident in music and performance alike.
While some are illuminated by the black light, most will perish in its flames. The unwavering devotion to walk against all currents brings sight beyond the veil.

This event was the culmination of the Black Metal Projekt STHLM, planned, realized & organized by Samuel as a school project (!!:)). I think he did great!!:)

It won’t be something just about music, but as much as about traditional meanings, symbols and knowledge.”

The first ever gig with THE RESISTANCE. They were supposed to play on the Close-Up Cruise, but they had to cancel. I love to shoot Mr. DEATH gigs. Difficult as hell because of the dim lights, preferrably directed from behind the band. Works well with the image ´cos the guys look like they´ve been recently unearthed. Consequently I always end up with a bunch of weird pics and I just love them:) Needless to say that the gig was amazing. I told you, only great bands this evening!
Club Distortion with Peter & Sophie is finally back in a really good venue in the middle of the City!! Four awesome bands on opening night: FACEBREAKER, Mr, DEATH, CRUCIFYRE & THE RESISTANCE. Really good stage & lights and even the sound was great! The beer could be cheaper, tho. And don´t buy drinks in the bar!! They cost like 16 Euro (!!??) Anyway, uploaded some some FACEBREAKER pics. A killer gig as always!
