NECROCURSE – the “Death Metal Rebels from Uddevalla” (Hellbutcher (Nifelheim) – vocals, Stefan “Rotting” Rodin – guitar, Martin “Märda” Andersson – guitar, Johan “Basstard” Bäckman – bass and Nicklas “Terror” Rudolfsson – drums) next on stage and the evening continues with some really heavy stuff. Pelle Hellbutcher is a great vocalist even in death metal and the band was impressive. I´m very happy I got to see them!! Hellbutcher also gave me one of the cool t-shirts so I was properly dressed at the Coffins gig in Helsinki the night after:) The pics are (once again) necro and old school.

Joseph Tholl – Vocals (Enforcer. Reminds me of the pics I still got unblogged from the Sweden Rock Cruise!!), Daniel Bergkvist – Drums (ex-Wolf), Peter Stjärnvind – Guitars (Krux, Nifelheim, ex-Entombed, ex-Merciless, ex-Regurgitate, ex-Unanimated etc etc). Also on stage the Nifelheim guys Sebastian Ramstedt and Johan Bergebäck. And for once I got some good shots on Peter;)) Next time I see them at Muskelrock!!»THE GALLERY

NIFELHEIM – Göta Källare 29/4 2012
One of the greatest bands on earth and not that common to see on a stage in Stockholm!! Some enthusiast poured beer on my camera when the band entered the stage so had to dry the lens a bit with my sleeve (I do have a filter on it, of course. I don´t use sleeves on the optics. Mostly:). Still I got some of it left in the viewfinder. Haha fukken metalheads:) ❤ Fantastic gig and (ofc) the pics got a nice retro feeling. Very much like the ones I always ended up with back in 2005 at Tantogården shooting with my very first DSLR (Canon 20D, 18-55 kit lens;). In which case, here you go.

VULCANO – Göta Källare 29/4 2012
The first time ever I got to see VULCANO live!! Great show and lots of people. GK should invest in some air condition, tho. I always wake up with a headache after being to the venue. And it´s NOT because of the beer and smoking:) Anyway, big thanks to HELLBUTCHER for inviting me (or maybe I invited myself, haha?). He requested lots of VULCANO pics, so I did my best. Difficult lights, the kind that makes all the colors bleed, but it sometimes comes with the territory. Just have to deal with it:)

M.M.I. – Release party for “Lean back, Relax and watch the world burn” 5/4 2012
Berget Bergman is a dear old (oooold;)) friend of mine and now he has released yet another M.M.I. album and the new stuff sounds really good!! He also trusted me once more to shoot all the pics needed. There´s a brand new line-up now and have to say the new guys are not bad at all. They rock!:) Lots and lots of people @ Anchor and I saw myself on the tv screens every now and then (the MMI dvd looping…scary shit:)). Cool gig and drunken mayhem in the crowd so over all it was a good party:))

FESTER – Kafé 44 5/4 2012
A bunch of young guys from the southern parts of Sweden playing old school death metal. With Gabriel Dobos (the next Chris Reifert?) on drums & vocals.
The rest of the band: Bass – Noel Wieser, Guitar – Kristoffer Sjöström, Guitar – Olle Rundkvist. Kafé 44 is not the great venue for metal it used to be, the sound was miserable from time to time, but the gig was still very good and the crowd went nuts. So it was great fun:) Also, while visiting Stockholm, the band went to Sunlight studios to record a two-song demo.

Anyway, I love CRUCIFYRE!! Great liveband and the stuff I´ve heard from the upcoming album sounds really really good!!!:)

Directly from the Sweden Rock Cruise to Nalen Klubb an to another great Püssy a Go Go event. Got some time to hang out with the bands and the Püssy staff. SORDID FLESH kinda blew me away already at the soundcheck and the actual gig later in the evening was brilliant! One more new band (for me) to add on the “must see again” list.

Survived one more cruise:) I hate the Fin-Swe boats in general but I love the metalcruises. Thanks to the good people @ Sweden Rock Magazine for always having me: And feeding me.
