Klubb Gås-night yesterday…The Ugly & Remasculate had releaseparty and was in real hurry to get from Hovet to Broder Tuck in time for Spazmosity who opened the evening. I arrived in time, took off like 5 layers of clothes (it was freezing cold at Hovet) and left them with Inky who sat with the merch. I bought The Ugly CD and a beer, then I ran out of money…got to get the Remasculate CD later.
I didn´t have to freeze anymore…the basement was like a sauna. Very small stage, no lights what so ever, so I shot everything with the flash.

Hovet yesterday…mostly I sat on a bench “back-backstage” while waiting for the bands. Met Marko, a finnish photographer and journalist. Things didn´t really go his way yesterday:) He stayed for the rest of the Motörheadgig and I ran off for a releaseparty just around the corner.

Met Linda too. She was there to shoot Witchcraft.
We waited and waited to get in…

newNow, It´s like this:
Before I already started to fill up again on the old system. Then I thought I couldn´t really trust the old Coppermine anymore…or anything with a database where absolutely everything crashes if something happens.
So i looked around for a new system and found it. So now on all the different albums/bands will be separated from each other, and if something happens with one album, it never affects anything else. One album at the time is quite easy to restore, so I think it will be great. It will take some time to fix up all albums, though…
This is the second time I´ve got trouble with extremmetal.se since the start in 2005, but hopefully the last…at least the last big one.
You can see the progress in Live A-Z (uploaded albums are marked with –) & Bandlist A-Z. I try to get the bloglinks to work first, but I probably will be quite unorganized when uploading the albums:) I´m quite happy to find this new solution, because I´m not any expert in databases & shit…
Oh well…now it´s december and it will soon be Christmas. And The Ugly releaseparty!
Better times…

hate2Here´s the deal: I´ve opened up the gallery again and the albumlist is where it belongs. But the pics are not. My database backupfile were much bigger than the limit so it didn´t work out. I really couldn´t believe it…I mean what´s the point having large spaces at your webhotel when you can´t back it up?
So now I have to send up all pics again. And it will take about a year or so before everything´s in place again. I´ve not decided if I really go for sending up everything or if I have to leave something behind. At least the really shitty pics;))
I start sending up the latest i shooted, so the links in the blog start working again, then I´ll see. Fortunately I could send up backup on all of the 365 (empty) albums, so they got the same number and position as before. Think I have to improvise a bit and see what happens. I have filled up some 5-6 albums now, so there´s just 360 left to go…. I´m really in a bad mood right now:(
To all of you (bands) who have linked to the albums: if there´s no pics in your album, (and there probably aren´t right now) you can mail me and I´ll fix it a.s.a.p, so. Ok?
Anyway…I have to try to make the best of it but it will look empty for a long time…
One good thing happened though…got some stuff from Pat (F.K.Û) today!! Made me a bit happier in all this mess:) Thanks Pat!!!

Something strange going on with the galleries again…i think the system it´s based on is getting too old and instable now. Or something. I think I have to seriously do something about it soon. Maybe change everything from scratch. Or at least upgrade. When I know, I´ll tell you how it´s going to be.
So…right now are the galleries not working at all. Maybe it will fix itselves as the last time it happened. Maybe not…
Till I find out what the trouble is, I close down the galleries. Any links to the galleries in the blog won´t work either.
