SARKE – Blastfest 20/2 2015 [USF Verftet]
“Sarke formed in 2008 when Thomas “Sarke” Bergli (Khold, Tulus) decided to make a solo album. In November 2008 Sarke recorded the tracks for the album with keyboardist Anders Hunstad, produced by Lars-Erik Westby. Ted “Nocturno Culto” Skjellum (Darkthrone, ex-Satyricon) joined Sarke and provided vocals for the debut album, titled Vorunah, released on April 6, 2009 via Indie Recordings.[1] In 2009 drummer Asgeir Mickelson and guitarist Terje “Cyrus” Andersen joined the band as live members. In 2010 Steinar Gundersen joined Sarke as their second guitar player. In 2009 and 2010 the band played at several festivals such as Wacken Open Air (with the guest appearance of Thomas Gabriel Fischer[2]), Inferno Festival, Hole in the Sky, Party.San Open Air, Brutal Assault and Ragnarök Festival. After the festivals Mickelson, Cyrus and Gundersen became full-time members of the band.”

Both bands played at Garage. It got a bit weird with the schedual for awhile because the BÖLZER gig was cancelled. Eventually it was all back in track again:)

From bio: “Tsjuder crawled up from beneath anno 1993. Their intention was to create the rawest form of Black Metal, and continue that for the lifetime of the band. The first official demo tape was released in 1995 with Nag, Draugluin and Berserk in the line-up.”

DARK FUNERAL – Blastfest 20/2 2015 [USF Verftet]
I already knew that Heljarmaðr (GRÁ, CURSED 13) was a great vocalist so I was really excited to see him with DARK FUNERAL ! He´s maybe not as huge as the rest of the guys (I mean they are really big!!:)) in the band but he´s got the most powerful voice and also handles the fronting business like a freaking boss. The band also added a new bass player Natt (ex-ANGREPP, WITHERSHIN). Kick ass show!:D

MORGOTH – Blastfest 20/2 2015 [USF Verftet]
“Their original band name during the very early days was Cadaverous Smell, then Minas Morgul. However, since they were all lovers of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings”, they chose the name Morgoth (after the nickname of Melkor, the renegade and evil Ainu, “the great enemy”) for their band in 1987. The band split-up in 1998, but reunited in 2010.”
